So, in practice:

Race 1 – Wincanton 13:30

Wager – 1.5 points Each-Way
Sami Bear finished just 2 lengths behind on his latest start which was over C&D in November and has generally always been a very consistent horse. Trainer Chris Gordon has been in good form of late and has his son Freddie in the saddle again, who has struck up a good relationship with the horse placing twice with Sami Bear on his last two starts. Should be fresh after a short break and will have every chance of being in the mix in thid big field.
Race 2 – Southwell 13:50
Tipman Selection – Kaths Toyboy
Wager – 1.5 points Each-Way
Kaths Toyboy, a beaten favourite over 7 furlongs at Lingfield last time out but was trapped on the rail and did not get a clear run. Joined Kevin Frost and makes his stable debut today and the trainer generally has a good record here. Will welcome the drop in trip and has always run well here.
Race 3- Wincanton 15:00
Tipman Selection – Foxboro
Wager – 1.5 points Each-Way
Foxboro seems to be going a bit under the radar here but he represents a very good chance here today. Wasn’t given the best ride last time out and conditions not to suit could have resulted in that 5th place and I’m happy to draw a line in that form. Harry Kimber returns for the ride today who’s one of the best claimers about and the horse has strong form in the book when 2nd to Native Robin, form has been franked by the 3rd since.
Race 4 – Southwell 15:25
Tipman Selection – Aztec Empire
Wager – 3 points win
Lightly raced 4 year old for Andrew Balding makes his handicap debut today of a mark of 86 and it’s difficult to judge how well in he is in today, could be miles ahead of the handicapper and is worth taking that chance. Handles the track and has a very good apprentice on board.
