FAME AND FUN was second favourite and tongue tied first time when he won a 15-runner race at Taunton five weeks ago on handicap debut, always prominent but leading only in the final strides. Raised 6lb but this longer trip should suit and he should have more to offer.
14:00 Wincanton – Celtic Art (Whistler)
CELTIC ART is a free-going sort who used to be useful on Flat. Went on approaching the second last when he won 18-runner maiden over C&D (good to sot) last month on his second run over hurdles, form which has been boosted. Concedes weight to almost all of these but has each-way claims.
15:35 Wincanton – Ilovethenightlife (Andrew Bladen)
ILOVETHENIGHTLIFE recorded a comfortable win at Ffos Las in October on hurdling debut. Well beaten on soft next time but improved when third in Listed event at Taunton latest. All those were at about 2m and there’s a fair chance she will stay. In serious contention.
16:25 Fakenham – Small Bad Bob (Postdata)
SMALL BAD BOB was a three-time hurdle winner last season. Not really firing on all cylinders this term but was placed in valuable C&D handicap last month and remains on a good mark.
