17:00 – Crazy Spin

Recent winners Dynakite and Broughtons Flare have a bit more on their plate and may come up short. Velma (second choice) is respected despite a 3lb rise for finishing second here 11 days ago but CRAZY SPIN (NAP) is handicapped to win and she has had excuses in both runs this year. In a race in which most of the runners usually come from off the pace, she could prove hard to catch.

17:30 – Roaring Legend

Three winners take on a couple of promising sorts. Regal Empire won well over C&D 11 days ago and looks the best of the penalised runners but Bravura and ROARING LEGEND make more appeal. Preference is for James Ferguson’s 3yo, who shaped nicely at Wolverhampton on his debut and is open to plenty of improvement.

18:00 – Glorious Angel

Grant Tuer has transformed GLORIOUS ANGEL and this tough and thriving filly can lower the colours of her higher-rated opponents. She should appreciate returning to 6f and could be hard to catch in her current seam of form. Shouldvebeenaring is preferred to Alpha Capture for forecast purposes.

18:30 – Jaustcallmepete

Alafdhal’s winning spree came to an end here last week but he still ran with great credit behind another sharp improver. He can be involved again, while Mellys Flyer and Politics also have the form to feature in a competitive sprint. The two who appeal most are Murbih and JUSTCALLMEPETE, with the latter’s record over this trip earning him the vote.

19:00 – Aurophobia

It is tough to crab All Dunn who has shown plenty of grit in winning two classified events this month but he will need another step forward if he is to concede 6lb to his rivals. Harswelll Rose and Skyblue Expert (second choice) also come into the reckoning but AUROPHOBIA was a shade unfortunate not to win at Lingfield four weeks ago and she can take gold this time.

19:30 – Vasilissa

Comedian Leader is on a roll and won’t go down without a fight but this looks a deeper race than those she has been winning. Chuck Taylor (second choice), Resilient Power and She’s A Rocket all have claims but VASILISSA wasn’t seen to best effect at Lingfield on Saturday and this track could prove more suitable.

20:00 – Snow Berry

Brandy Station should give it another good go from the front, while Storm Melody, Battle Point (second choice), Stroxx and Enchanted Night are worth respect. This represents a marked drop in grade for SNOW BERRY, though, and Mick Appleby’s mare may be able to gain a first AW success at the seventh attempt.

There should be another middle-distance race in DUBAI JEANIUS, who appreciated the step up in trip when winning over 1m3f here last time, and this unexposed 5yo can follow up. The main danger can come from Ciao Adios, although Pink Haze can also be involved along with Hammy End.
