Another chance is given to HARRY MAGNUS, who was turned over a short odds last time but looks ready for a crack at this new trip and is the clear form choice in this field. Garrick Street, who should build on his debut promise, and interesting newcomer Onight may prove the main dangers.
18:00 – Bawaader
This can go to BAWAADER, who is on a roll after his two wins in classified events including a 7l success over C&D on his penultimate run. He still looks feasibly treated and may well be able to strike again back in a handicap to complete the hat-trick. The other last-time-out winner He’s Our Star is feared most, ahead of Global Style and Catch My Breath.
18:30 – Shot (NAP)
Having made a promising reappearance here two weeks ago, SHOT (NAP) is open to further progress and looks interesting off the same mark. Handicap newcomers Sofia Cat (second choice) and More Than A Grey are respected, while Confederation has possibilities off his current mark despite being comparatively exposed.
19:00 – No Barrier
Last-time-out winners Dark Trooper and Dyed In The Wool are unexposed on AW but the former seems a quirky sort and the latter has raced only at shorter trips. Prince Nabeel and Crocodile Roll are in good form but likely improver NO BARRIER gets the vote and fellow handicap debutant Congresbury is second choice.

The shortlist is headed by the interesting contenders ROYAUME UNI and Silverscape in that order of preference. The selection is two from two on AW and returns to this sphere off a handy mark, while the second choice is open to improvement upped in distance. First Emperor holds obvious claims and has to be feared despite going up in grade, while Military Two Step has possibilities if managing to back up her last performance.
20:00 – Franco Grasso
Having shown his peak form in only two attempts at Class 6 level, FRANCO GRASSO could well defy top weight back in this grade. Recent C&D winners Solanna (second choice) and Cowboy are obvious dangers, albeit the latter’s chance partly depends on whether he gets another easy lead. Hashtagmetoo and Mr Zee complete the shortlist.
