Course 2m4f maiden winner Spirit Of Legend and dual 2m4f winner Landrake would probably prefer further than this, but the stiffness of the track will help. However, slight preference is for INTRANET who was the outsider of the stable’s four runners in a Grade 1 event at Leopardstown and may reverse the form of that race with Path D’Oroux.

12:32 Find A Fifty
Probably unsuited by having to make the running in a bumper here in November, FIND A FIFTY, may be seen to much better effect over 2m4f and with a hood fitted for his hurdling debut. Riding plans imply that Shanbally Kid is expected to reverse Limerick form with stablemate Aime Desjy. The 125-rated Hemlock was second to a Gordon Elliott-trained horse in this race last year and should again be in the mix.
13:07 Spyglass Hill
Competitive fare with several improving types in here including Rebel Ivy who arrives on the back of a career best and Boid De Clamart who returned to form last time out. It might be worth taking a chance on SPYGLASS HILL who has both conditions and ground in his favour and he might be able to take advantage of his lower hurdle mark with first-time cheekpieces fitted.

13:42 Go Boy (NAP)
An opening mark of 109 may not be a stumbling block for GO BOY (nap) who produced dramatic improvement on his stable and hurdling debut at Limerick. Penny Jar may not have stopped improving and should go close if handling the conditions. Mrs Paisley could not be ruled out on her first start for Gordon Elliott. The veteran Carrig Cathal is worth considering after a lively display over fences at Limerick.
14:17 Ballystone
My Trump Card sets the standard on form having run with credit despite jumping errors here on debut in November. It’s For Me is another obvious sort who gives the champion trainer solid claims of enhancing his excellent strike-rate in bumpers. However, the well bred BALLYSTONE may offer a bit of value at the likely prices and the form of his point second is working out well.

14:52 Tenzing
Willie Mullins has a strong hand in this with his two runners. Paul Townend rides Aione but TENZING sets the standard on form and it’s possible that connections wanted to keep Sean O’Keeffe on board given that he’s ridden him on his two previous chase starts. Shantreusse is a big danger to the selection after another big run last time out and Capilano Bridge will be involved if he improves again.
15:27 Spancil Hill
The well handicapped veteran SPANCIL HILL shaped like a return to form may be imminent last time and he gets his optimum trip/conditions here. Diegos Way is an obvious threat after some solid runs in Britain and Three Loud Knocks will be a big player if he can build on his run at Limerick last time. Sanibel Island is another that is hard to rule out in his current form.
