11:55 Lingfield – Smith (Myracing)
SMITH added to his good C&D record when edging out the reopposing Reeceltic last month. Ought to remain very competitive after a 2lb nudge.
13:37 Lingfield – Pistoletto (Postdata)
PISTOLETTO has four Polytrack wins since being trained in Britain. Better signs when third over C&D in December and he pulled too hard when behind Obsidian Knight and Marions Boy over 1m4f here since. Return to 1m2f a help and he lurks on a dangerous mark, particularly if Billy Loughnane’s claim is taken into account.
14:47 Lingfield – Purple Ribbon (Andrew Bladen)
PURPLE RIBBON has raced only on AW. Much improved when narrowly denied in a 1m4f Kempton Listed race in November. That sent her mark up into the low 100s but it’s possible she could have even more to offer after only a handful of starts. Drop back to 1m2f is unlikely to inconvenience. Should go well.
18:30 Wolverhampton – Libra Tiger (Newsboy)
LIBRA TIGER was unplaced in five runs for David Menuisier but he made a bright start for his new yard when justifying favouritism from off the pace at Kempton two weeks ago. That was a narrow success but a 3lb rise looks fair and he’s open to more progress. Respected.
