18:00 – Ocean Symphony (NAP)

15:55 – Leclerc

A 1m handicap to start where Adrian McGuinness’ Leclerc heads the market and is a dual winner at this track. I’d put a line through his last run and crucially his best runs have come with the visor on. It was left off last time but goes back on now. French Rescue will be popular and was a big-priced winner at the Curragh last season.

Tynamaite has been running well as has Well Suited who is 24lbs lower than his last win. Leclerc is the one for me though in a race where Paddy is paying 4 places if they all turn up.

16:30 – Capla Knight

The second division of the 1m handicap looks just as competitive and Billy Lee could get a good spin off Jered Maddox for trainer David Marnane. Dutch Glory can struggle to settle at times and could struggle to see out the mile after her win a fortnight ago over 7f.

That leads me to Capla Knight who was a decent third to Malaysian a couple of runs back and the form has been franked by the fourth-placed Havana Pearl winning recently and Indiana Grey finishing second, two starts later. Indiana Grey re-opposes again but from a decent draw in stall two and Cian McRedmond taking off 5lb, Capla Knight can get his head in front for the first time in 12 months back over the mile. Paddy’s paying 4 places if they all line up.

17:00 – Final Voyage

Another open mile handicap that looks very very competitive. Hightimeyouwon scored on his third start for Adrian McGuinness two weeks ago over 7f, having left Dermot Weld. Jaafel was back in third but had no luck in running that night and both should be suited by the step up to a mile tonight.

Final Voyage looks to have the best back-form of these from his days in the UK and the step up to a mile will suit. He started favourite when beaten by Super Over last time but can make amends now.

17:30 – Anthem National

A good 7f contest where the top three are all rated 100 and above. Joseph O’Brien’s San Andreas tops the ratings on 106 having finished second to Fastnet Crown last time, while stablemate Anthem National is rated 100. Real Appeal makes his debut for Adrian McGuinness but might be best watched on his first try for the new stable. I’ll side with Anthem National.

Dundalk-all-weather-racing

18:00 – Ocean Symphony (NAP)

Given the improvement Vittoria Colanna showed on her second start at Dundalk last month, she’s worth keeping on side. She’s the best of the Joseph O’Brien runners in here, however, I was really impressed with Ocean Symphony on his debut and he finished off really well. Stepping up to 7f should really suit him so I’m siding with the John Murtagh runner.

18:30 – Collective Power

There’s a lot of pace in this race and Collective Power is the safest proposition for Edward Lynam. He found himself in the wrong place last time out at Dundalk in December but he can bounce back. He’s getting ready to win and he’s got an ideal draw.

19:00 – Gracesolution

Gracesolution is very well handicapped and I’m hoping she can bounce back from getting chinned at Dundalk earlier this month. Siobhan Rutledge takes 5lbs off and she will have learned a lot from the last run.

19:30 – Celtic Revival

Celtic Revival has showed promise in his last few starts and James Ryan impressed on him last time out at Dundalk. The penny is hopefully dropping with him and it could be his day.
