Hello Me for Joseph Parr is a two-time course winner who’s never run a bad race here and has everything in his favour today. I have him clear on the ratings and on speed figures so there is plenty to like. He’s dropping down the weights now and looks very dangerous on this mark and that’s before Luke Morris has been booked for the ride. He should go close today.

Johnny Boom is another horse who clearly likes it here with two wins from three starts and a good overall strike rate in his career. He’s a lot less exposed than some of these rivals who have had a lot of races. He is a horse who likes to come off the pace but tactics last time out may have been a little bit off as he was left far too much to do. He needs to be ridden a bit closer today and you can bank your house this one will come rattling home late, let’s just hope he’s not given too much to do.

Mintana got off the mark finally last week and has been turned around quickly which is easy to see why given that performance. He’s up 5lbs which is fair but he’s open to plenty of improvement against some extremely exposed horses who the handicapper will have firmly in his grasp now. Mollie Phillips takes off 3lbs and it’s very hard to see this one outside the frame if coming on again.

Wager: 1.5 points each-way
Greavsie maybe not be the most straight forward horse about but he clearly puts in his best work here at Kempton and the step back up to a mile looks a real positive for a horse who does all his best stuff late on. He was last seen finishing 4th 2l behind the winner and the start prior to that was a course win. The yards in good form and his handicap doesn’t looks particularly strong so he has a big chance.
