CHAZZESMEE has a slightly chequered history but showed what he is capable of when landing a punt emphatically over C&D on Friday. Just the 7lb mandatory penalty to contend with here and very hard to oppose if in the same form, due to go up another 9lb.

16:25 Wolverhampton – Jupiter Express (Rory Delargy)

JUPITER EXPRESS started out for shrewd connections over 5f/6f before breaking through over 7f here. Kept to 7f and again took a keen hold before paying the price in 0-75 on Monday Can bounce back from handy draw in this 0-60 sprint.

16:37 Southwell – Master Grey (Postdata)

MASTER GREY comes here in good form, narrowly missing out over C&D (for this rider) in November and again finishing second at Kempton 12 days ago. More appealing than most.

19:45 Southwell – King’s Gem (myracing)

KING’S GEM made the frame in 6f maidens at Windsor and at Ffos Las in August, showing bright speed in the process. Sold out of Sir Mark Todd’s stable for 38,000gns in October and gelded. Wears a tongue-tie for his stable debut and he’s a potential big improver.
