The Doyen Chief comfortably saw off Sail Away to break his maiden status over fences less than a fortnight ago but must overcome a significant swing at the weights to repeat the form in the feature at Warwick, the Class 2 Challenger Staying Chase Series Final Handicap Chase (16:32).

Willie Mullins has a group of runners at Clonmel including Lombron and Rath Gaul Boy in the Ballymacarbry Beginners Chase (15:12) and Doctor Steinberg in the Next Race Meeting April 17th (Pro/Am) INH Flat Race (18:15). There is also Jumps action at Southwell.

A bumper nine-race card kicks off the all-weather action at Wolverhampton before Chelmsford’s evening meeting rounds off proceedings.
