13:10 – Valirann Gold
Valirann Gold registered a decisive nine-and-a-half-length success at Chepstow last week and a penalty should not be enough to stop him from following up if in similar form. Valirann Gold seemed to relish front-running tactics being employed at Chepstow and he impressed with how well he jumped and travelled at the head of affairs before readily asserting between the final two fences.

13:40 – Missed Tee
Point winner Missed Tee couldn’t justify odds-on favouritism on her hurdling debut at Ffos Las in November, but she shaped with promise in fourth and built on that encouragement to strike at Uttoxeter last month. Missed Tee has been handed a fair opening handicap mark and remains open to plenty of improvement after only two starts under Rules, so she might prove too good for her rivals.
14:10 – Obsessedwithyou
Obsessedwithyou registered a ready success under an enterprising ride on her hurdling debut at Wetherby and she then ran well to finish fourth when upped in grade at Aintree, where she was still in the fight at the final flight. This looks like a much more straightforward task and, even under a penalty, she sets a fair standard for her rivals to aim at.
14:40 – Jet Plane
Jet Plane disappointed when pulled up in the Lincolnshire National last time, but he was on the backfoot from an early stage after he clouted the first fence, and he is better judged on what he showed on his penultimate outing over this course and distance. Jet Plane ran out a very easy winner on that occasion, pulling 24 lengths clear and improving on what he had shown over hurdles. He is worth another chance to build on that positive impression.
15:10 – Supasunrise
Supasunrise failed to jump with fluency on his chasing debut at Market Rasen last month but he clearly learned plenty from that experience and put in a better round on his way to winning at Huntingdon last time. Supasunrise impressed with his resolution at Huntingdon, finding plenty for pressure, and that matched the pick of his efforts over hurdles. He remains open to improvement over fences.

15:40 – Fay Ce Que Voudras
Fay Ce Que Voudras didn’t show much in bumpers but she took a big step forward on those couple of efforts when runner-up on her hurdling debut at Ludlow in March 2021. She was off the course for more than a year and a half before returning at Uttoxeter last month and she offered encouragement in second behind subsequent winner Kateira. She remains open to improvement and is interesting on her handicap debut.
16:10 – Bebraveforglory
Bebraveforglory won a handicap chase on his reappearance at Stratford in October and has shaped as if in form on both starts since, finishing fourth in similar events at Taunton and Exeter. He was successful over this course and distance on his last try over hurdles last season, and he looks to be on a handy mark in this sphere.
