Kempton 14.05 – Saint Calvados
Warwick 14.25 – Ginnys Destiny
Kempton 14.40 – Outlaw Peter

Kempton 13.30 – Enrilo

ITV Saturday gets under way here with a handicap chase over 3m. ENRILO has the ability to outclass this lot but it’s just impossible to know what to expect with form figures of FP4PF. The Paul Nicholls-trained stayer, ridden by Harry Cobden, would have every chance on his fourth at this track three runs ago (Kitty’s Light second and dismal this term). It tells you the handicapper still thinks the ability is there in that he has only dropped 4lb in those five runs.

Warwick 13.50 – Complete Unknown

ITV are also at Warwick Saturday for this Grade 2 novices’ chase over 3m. Galia des Liteaux has ability but the safest option here is COMPLETE UNKNOWN for Lorcan Williams and Paul Nicholls! That’s four I’ve tipped up for the Nicholls stable. A decent handicap hurdler, my selection looks just as good over fences and was a fine winner at Ffos Las last time. Ground holds no fears.

Kempton 14.05 – Saint Calvados

A Grade 2 Chase over an extended 2m4f. I’ll risk a shock here via SAINT CALVADOS who could be another for champion Paul Nicholls. It’s always a risk with David Maxwell, the owner, on top but it’s still fun and Saint Calvados has the ability for this. The former King George third was stuffed by Coole Cody first time this season at Ascot when long odds on but he ran away with his rider on that occasion and it was a false result. I’ll take a chance.

Warwick 14.25 – Ginnys Destiny

Here’s a Grade 2 novices’ hurdle over 2m5f. I like GINNY’S DESTINY for Stan Sheppard and trainer Tom Lacey. My hope is very lightly raced and scored at a big price last time but I don’t think it was a fluke and the 7yo gelding could be useful. I wish the stable was in better form.

Kempton 14.40 – Outlaw Peter

The big betting race of the day in the Lanzarote Handicap Hurdle over 2m5f. Another for Paul Nicholls here for me in the shape of OUTLAW PETER. The recent Exeter winner has Graded form and seems to stay well which not all of these are confirmed to do. Harry Cobden is on top and with a good racing weight I see no reason why he won’t hit the frame at the very least.

Warwick 15.00 – Notachance (each-way)

A handicap chase over 3m5f. Hopefully NOTACHANCE has a great chance for Alan King and Tom Cannon. A thorough stayer, the 9yo has been consistent of late without winning. But he’s down in the handicap a few lbs and this is a race where he should at least have an each-way shout.

Warwick 15.35 – Ashtown Lad

A handicap hurdle over 3m1f. ASHTOWN LAD won over the big fences at Aintree last time but just because he’s in good form he should have a strong shout now. Harry Skelton rides for his trainer brother Dan and in a small field for a race like this they could be hard to stop even back over hurdles.

So best of luck and pray for Yeeehaaas. You hear me Paddy?
