Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

Southwell-all-weather-racing

13:00 Southwell – Daafy (The Times)

Having finally got off the mark over C&D last month Taravara could again go well off just 1lb higher, while Flash The Dash could be a player on his second start for the yard if seeing out the trip. However, the vote goes to DAAFY who likes it here and looked a bit unlucky when just beaten by an in-form rival over C&D ten days ago. Chief’s Will is another for the shortlist, as is Cloch Nua now back in trip.

13:10 Chepstow – Getbazoutofhere (Racing Post)

Galice Macalo has been frustrating but must be seriously considered nevertheless, while Heva Rose (second choice) catches the eye with her old French form. GETBAZOUTOFHERE did not look the finished article last season but still proved competitive in her two handicaps and she was travelling nicely, close to the lead, when making a hash of the third-last flight in a £26,000 series final at Haydock on the second occasion. She is open to improvement and gets the vote.

13:50 Naas – Shakeytry (The Sun)

Not the most appealing contest in the world. Top-weight Indiana Jones could be a revelation back at this trip, Railway Hurricane will get it right some day and Benefit Run should go well. The selection is SHAKEYTRY, gradually coming back to form after a year off and looks as though today could be his day.

15:00 Southwell – Serenity Rose (Telegraph)

Both Dark Trooper and Bay Of Hope should appreciate the extra furlong on pedigree, while States Of Thunder wouldn’t need to find much on previous efforts in order to figure. However, SERENITY ROSE showed that a race like this is within her grasp when going down narrowly on nursery debut over this trip at Wolverhampton last month and a repeat of that effort may well be enough.
