IMPOSE TOI is a half-brother to smart 2m1f-3m hurdle/chase winner Floueur. Dam French 2m2f chase winner, half-sister to French 2m4f Listed chase winner Quaska d’Airy and 2m-2m4f hurdle/chase winner Pamak D’Airy. Won well in two French bumpers last spring, hugely on top on first occasion and asserting late on over 1m4f next time. Has joined top connections and no surprise if he makes a winning hurdle/British debut.
14:15 Kempton – Aztec Empire (The Brigadier)
AZTEC EMPIRE showed clear promise in both starts, finishing fourth at Sandown in summer 2021 then clear second when odds-on favourite at Southwell two months ago. This Sea The Stars colt should be capable of better still.
15:30 Ludlow – Mr Bobby Dazzler (Chris Wright)
MR BOBBY DAZZLER has gained all three hurdling wins at Aintree, the latest by 21l over 3m in December 2021. Given that, his reappearance there in October was disconcerting.
19:15 Southwell – Minhaaj (Postdata)
MINHAAJ is an inconsistent sort who has been beaten 27 times since her last win in August 2020 and was merely mid-division at Newcastle on Wednesday. However, she’s run some good races in recent months and is capable of being thereabouts.
