Irish point winner GREENROCK ABBEY made a good start to his chase career at Hereford and his new mark is surely within range. Haldon Hill is also in fine form, while Prime Pretender is another who cannot be left out in what is a strong race for the grade.

Porfin continues to go from strength to strength and is respected, while Darryll Holland’s runners Astro Jakk and Lilkian also have something to recommend them. MAGICAL MAX is the most interesting contender in the field, though, with his record fresh suggesting this may be the time to catch him. His new stable fit a tongue-tie for the first time and he appeals as being well handicapped now dropping in class.
