13:40 – No Speed Limit

Plenty of these come into the race in form, no more so than the hat-trick seeking Inishmot Prince. He, along with Little Queenie, Collective Power and Dream Today are among those with obvious chances. Preference though is for the very consistent NO SPEED LIMIT (NAP), who benefitted from a more patient ride last time and can go in again.

NEW TO PADDY POWER NEWS?

14:10 – My Little Trip

Not a lot of these make a ton of appeal. MY LITTLE TIP, second in a claimer here four weeks ago and gelded in the interim, may prove best of the McAuley sextet. Winning the battle of the stablemates may be enough to see him get home in front of likely dangers Capuchinero and Tawaazon.

14:40 – Gobi Star

An open race. The hat-trick seeking Jaafel should be thereabouts, with appeal also made by the likes of Hodd’s Girl, Is That Love and Inflection Point. It might pay to side with GOBI STAR, winner of a claimer here in November and unlucky in running over 6f here on his stable debut.

15:10 – Vikki Wall

Ian Donoghue is new to the training ranks but is vastly experienced in the business of pre-training and breaking young horses. He can strike here with his first Flat runner, VIKKI WALL who was in Gavin Cromwell’s care when making a pleasing debut here in November. Joseph O’Brien, who saddled the first two then, supplies a possible danger in Behind Enemy Lines.

15:45 – The Bog Bank

The likes of Malaysian and the consistent Tynamite will have their supporters. The handicapper has not taken many chances with Cheers Pal, up 16lb for winning here last month and it might not be enough to stop him. Slight preference is for THE BOG BANK after a good and consistent 2022 which ended with a narrow defeat over 7f here before Christmas.

16:15 – Fendi

Being drawn wide in this ten-runner contest should not pose a major problem for Rory Cleary on FENDI who had a few of these rivals behind when third here six weeks ago. Fourth on that occasion, Trident Star has failed to match that form on his two most recent starts, and fifth-placed Scat Maggie may pose a bigger threat. Reigles is the only winner in the field but has become disappointing.

16:45 – Matilda With Me

Many of these are out of form, but that is not the case in regard to MATILDA WITH ME, a winner and placed on her last two Dundalk runs. She holds an edge over Anjah on running here last month. Steps In The Sand won a claimer here three weeks ago but is likely to find things harder off a revised handicap mark. Meritorious comes into the reckoning, with Siobhan Rutledge’s claim an asset.

17:15 – Never Mistabeat

Normal improvement from his recent appearance at this venue should be enough to see NEVER MISTABEAT add to his 2021 C&D win. Gracesolution, twice a winner on turf last season, and Maura’s Gift, a C&D winner on her penultimate start, are likely dangers.
