Gallic Geordie is the most likely winner for me. He won this race last year and he was going well at Lingfield last time out before falling. He handles testing ground and he knows the track too.
I’ve been impressed with Elizabeth Gale on Langley Hundred and she claims 10lbs here. She’s been on board for his last two wins and it could be another win at Warwick.
I’m with Martello Sky at a big price. Eddie Edge is on board and he claims 10lbs which could be crucial. That brings him back to a rating of 130, which is workable. I think he’s capable of going well at 140 and with the 10lb claim, I’m all over Martello Sky.
I’m siding with High Counsel at a price. His last win was at Southwell in July and he’s off a good enough mark. He had managed to win on really heavy ground here in the past.
I like Laskalin and he won with plenty in hand at Ludlow last time out but the only concern is his tail carriage. It was sticking out behind him but it might be nothing. He had a bit up his sleeve and Charlie Deutsch takes over the ride.
I was impressed by Hermes Allen at Cheltenham but should he be the price he is? I’m not so sure. I like Joyeux Machin for Paul Nolan, who is a solid price. He won last time out at Fairyhouse when beating Viva Devito so I’ll side with him.
I’m with Malinello for Ben Pauling, with Luca Morgan on board. Luca rode him last time out when winning at Newcastle and he’s gone up 5lbs for that win. He could follow up.

14:40 Lingfield – Morgan Fairy
It’s hard to go against Morgan Fairy for Tom Marquand and William Haggas. She has a good record on the polytrack and she could go well.
