13:05 Chepstow – Enzo D’Airy (The Brigadier)
ENZO D’AIRY returned from long absence with game win from the front over C&D this month and is now 3-6 over fences. Probably still on a workable mark after recent 6lb rise and won’t mind if the ground deteriorates today. Major player.
13:55 Kempton – Get A Tonic (Andrew Bladen)
GET A TONIC was nicely progressive last season which culminated in a 3m success at Ayr off 7lb lower. Went up another 4lb for finishing second at Haydock on her reappearance but that was a deep handicap against male opposition and she could well come on for the run. Well regarded and a big player.
14:10 Chepstow – Just A Dime (Moorestyle)
JUST A DIME is a dual point winner. Has made a promising start over hurdles, winning at Exeter and pulling clear of the remainder when second at Carlisle. Stepping back up in distance should suit, and he is still unexposed. Big chance.
15:25 Chepstow – Ree Okka (Postdata)
REE OKKA was a very promising novice hurdler last season and made good start to chasing career at Aintree last month, for all that he succumbed to a stronger finisher on the run-in. This month’s Exeter fifth was a backward step, though.
