The Galileo colt will likely prove hard to beat if he takes to this game at the first attempt. This maiden has been won by some smart types over the years and DARK RAVEN, who represents the yard responsible for 3 of the last half-a-dozen winners, is of strong interest judged on what he showed in bumpers a couple of seasons back. He is unlikely to be found wanting fitness-wise, despite a 21-month absence, and gets the nod ahead of stablemate Viva Devito and Doctor Bravo. Clonshire River shaped well on his hurdling bow at Punchestown and he is not without each-way hope.

French import LOSSIEMOUTH looked pretty good when making a winning start for Willie Mullins at Fairyhouse, an effort that propelled her to the head of the ante-post Triumph Hurdle market, and she makes plenty of appeal with the distinct possibility of better to come. Stablemate Gala Marceau, 2-2 over hurdles in France, merits respect but bigger threats may be posed by Cougar and Nusret, both of whom are open to improvement, particularly the former.
13:45 Low Style
LOW STYLE got no further than the first fence on his chase debut last time but he is of major interest back in this sphere having readily accounted for Well Funded and 14 others on his handicap hurdle debut at Roscommon in September. Dutch Schultz is open to improvement and is next on the list ahead of Contrapposto, Itwasfate and Brookie. Wild Dollar makes his handicap debut in this sphere off a feasible mark and he also enters calculations.
14:20 Saint Roi
On the face of it, SAINT ROI has plenty on his plate given that he was comprehensively outpointed by Fil Dor on his chase debut at Navan and meets that rival on just 2 lb better terms here. Conversely, he’s entitled to come on for that run given that it was his first for 5 months, and the Willie Mullins yard has landed this prize 7 times since 2011. That said, Fil Dor is greatly respected and won’t go down without a fight, while his stablemate Hollow Games is also a strong candidate.

EMBITTERED signalled that his turn is again near when going close at Cork last month, form which was given a timely boost when the winner Big Debates recently followed up at Fairyhouse recently. A 2 lb rise for that effort is fair and Joseph O’Brien’s charge earns the vote. Halsafari put in a decent shift when third back in this sphere last time and should be involved. However, he’s just 1-20 over fences and the bang in-form Final Orders and likely improver The Folkes Tiara are bigger threats.
15:30 Park Of Kings
PARK OF KINGS is up against a couple of very likely-looking newcomers in Did I Ask You That and Pour Les Filles but it could be that his experience will give him an edge. Paul Nolan’s charge made an encouraging start to his career when third on debut at Fairyhouse earlier this month and improvement should be forthcoming. Did I Ask You That is marginally preferred to Pour Les Filles as the main danger. One And Only needs a second look in the betting.
