We might see the hurdles debut of High Definition, who was 117 on the flat. Willie has a few including PARMENION who cost €230k after winning in France on the flat in June 2021 and Lot Of Joy among others.
LOSSIEMOUTH was really impressive at Fairyhouse but I do think it developed into a sprint and she was just the one with the best turn of pace. There are a few whispers for Gala Marceau if she takes her chance here on debut for Willie. Nusret and Cougar are in here too so this could be a really good race.
ITSALLABOUTEVE was bought for €75k as a three year old and is related to Balthazar King and For Good Measure who were both stayers. She won on this card in 2020 when easily winning the bumper on the card on heavy ground. She won on her hurdles debut here last November over 2m and that form looks solid enough with the likes of The Greek and L’impertinent behind.
She wasn’t good enough for the Demolition Hurdle last year when pulled up but was sent off just 15/2 in a race won by Daly Tiger with Choice Of Word, The Goffer and Uhtred also in there. She was up against it last month on reappearance at Punchestown when last of six but makes handicap debut here off 109 and I’m pretty sure she is well handicapped off that mark.
GERRI COLOMBE is 6-6, winning a point, two bumpers, two hurdles and his beginners chase. He won a Fairyhouse bumper and then under a penalty at Naas both on testing ground. He went off 6/5 on his chase debut at Fairyhouse over 2m5f on soft ground but was impressive when winning what looked a hot beginners chase.
Bronn, a Grade 2 winning novice hurdler, was 2nd, Tenzing was 3rd, Shantreusse was 4th, Coqolino was 5th, Freedom To Dream was 6th and Sams Profile was 7th. I thought he jumped well and only concern here would be the trip, as I think it is a bare minimum for him. I know everyone is on about ground for him but it won’t be genuinely good ground for Cheltenham and I really think he is the one for the Brown Advisory at the festival.
