11:50 –AJRAD

Weloof is drawn wide but he still needs a market check off a handy mark. Deputise belatedly tackles 7f and could go well, while recent C&D winner Calonne (second choice) also enters calculations under a penalty. AJRAD won well over C&D on his penultimate start and a subsequent defeat in better company can be forgiven.

12:20 – BERNADINE

Ticket To Alaska and Regal Glory faced a hopeless task against Huberts Dream here last month but both ran well and there again shouldn’t be much between them. Regal Glory is marginally preferred of that pair but BERNADINE didn’t get a chance to show what she could do at Wolverhampton on her nursery debut and provided she can avoid traffic issues this time, she can come out on top

12:50 – NEW DEFINITION

Medici Chapel hasn’t fared well with the draw but she has the form to feature and enters calculations. Born Ruler is an interesting newcomer and the betting should be revealing but this may be an opportunity for NEW DEFINITION to gain a second win. He looks exposed on the face of it but he is consistent and stepping up to 7f could prove beneficial.

13:20 – THE BUNT

It may have been a modest nursery that Dreaming Princess won at Southwell 16 days ago but she won comfortably and could easily step forward again over this new trip. The combination of a wide stall and a penalty does ask a much stiffer question of her though and she may prove vulnerable. Muir Wood (second choice) and the well-bred newcomer Nazymbek make the shortlist but THE BUNT left the impression he could take a big step forward from his promising Wolverhampton debut and he can continue his stable’s fine end to the year.

13:50 – LADY LOULOU

Little depth to this novice and the most striking pair are Paris Lights and LADY LOULOU. The former is bred to be a champion but he didn’t progress for Jessica Harrington and he returns for his new yard with something to prove. Lady Loulou isn’t bombproof herself but her debut effort was very encouraging and this longer trip should prompt improvement.

14:20 – AL AGAILA

This is a much stronger contest than the one that was lost on Saturday and Sea Tsarina (second choice), who still has sound claims over a trip that should spark improvement, may not be the answer today. Makinmedoit, who created a favourable impression over C&D three weeks ago, would have been of major interest were it not for stall 11 and AL AGAILA looks the one to beat. The Crisfords’ filly was very impressive at Kempton two weeks ago, an effort backed up by the clock, and her pedigree suggests she can do better still over this longer trip. She looks very well weighted for her handicap debut.

14:50 – STARSHIBA

Hul Ah Bah Loo will be popular now returning to 1m on the back of strong finishes over 7f the last twice. He strikes as the type that might get going too late whatever the trip though and Motawaafeq and STARSHIBA appeal more today. Preference is for the latter, who has more than enough ability to make light of a 3lb rise for a comfortable 7f win here two weeks ago. Money for It’s A Love Thing would dramatically alter the complexion of the race.

15:20 – SWISS PRIDE

An interesting race of its type, with the unexposed Incrimination potentially very well treated on her handicap/stable debut and Daphne May also lurking on a dangerous mark on her first run for Gary Moore. Shalaa Asker (second choice) appreciated the return to sprinting 16 days ago and can go well, while Porfin and Likian ran well over C&D last week. However, SWISS PRIDE (nap) flew home for second in that race and Roger Teal’s prolific C&D winner can go one better today.
