Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.
So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…
The Paul Nicholls-trained bumper winner Dancingontheedge makes her handicap debut off a lowly mark, while useful Flat performer Colony Queen also has potential off her current mark. However, this could go to IMPERIAL PRIDE who was placed in 3m points and can benefit from the step up in trip. Fellow handicap newcomer Mistral Lady is feared most having been placed on both hurdle starts, with Leading Theatre, Last Of A Legend and Lady Wilberry others to consider in an open race.
There should be a big run in TARA ITI on this return to 2m, having appeared to find a longer trip beyond him at Fontwell. Green Planet should really be winning races off his mark and, despite a lengthy spell out of action, he’s the second choice. Heure De Gloire and Begin The Luck are also on the shortlist.

Having been beaten only 10l by a subsequent impressive Grade 3 winner at Naas last time, MALTON GROOVE should have improved from that return and can get off the mark. Klarc Kent, Potters Party and Kilbree Warrior can give him most to do.
Some of the main candidates have met previously, namely the smooth-travelling Roger Rarebit and Navegaon Gate in addition to the Exeter rivals ISLE OF ARON and Gyllen. The selection was a winner over hurdles at Ayr earlier in the year and appeared to relish returning to this discipline last time. Of the remainder, Unspeakable is a potentially interesting handicap debutant.
