WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

13:50 – Kempton – Kingsley Pride – Racing Post

A few of these are likely to appreciate the longer trip on breeding, though a couple have also not looked straightforward. KINGSLEY PRIDE falls into that category as he would surely have won had he not hung so badly at Chelmsford last time. He has the ability to win this if proving more amenable and the new headgear may help him in that regard. Similar comments apply to Cavern Club who still appears to have more to offer, but a bigger danger may be Mighty River who has improved as he has gone up in trip and did it nicely when successful at Wolverhampton this month.

14:10 – Punchestown – Lifetime Ambition – Wolverhampton E&S

Talented second-season chaser, LIFETIME AMBITION was Grade 3 winner and Grade 1 second last season; seemingly being campaigned for a tilt at the Grand National, finishing a solid fourth on his comeback in the Grand Sefton at Aintree; promoted to 155 (same rating as Fury Road) following fine effort in second in the Troytown at Navan; best form at 3m.

15:20 – Kempton – Ummsuquaim – Sunday Mail

Uther Pendragon bids to rattle off his third win in seven days and he holds solid claims. Miss Elsa ran well after a break at Lingfield three weeks ago and can go well but UMMSUQUAIM appeared to relish the step up to middle distances at Lingfield last time and she still looks very well handicapped despite a 3lb rise.

15:40 – Punchestown – Blizzard of Oz – Daily Star Sunday

The likes of Slade Steel, Makingachamp and Mel Monroe are interesting rivals but BLIZZARD OF OZ sets the bar high after his second in a Listed contest at Limerick in March.
