Filon D’Oudairies and Union Park renew rivalry after the former was a comfortable winner over C&D last time, and both are of interest, although this is a stronger contest. SHAKEYTRY might be a bit of value to make up for a narrow defeat over C&D when last seen over fences in 2021. Last year’s winner Western Sea could go well.

The Model Kingdom was 4l in front of LIBERTY DANCE at Down Royal last month but that was the latter’s jumping debut and she has since landed a maiden hurdle here in decisive fashion so is fancied to turn around that form, especially in receipt of 4lb. Belle The Lioness made a highly-regarded rival pull out all the stops at Punchestown and could prove a danger to both.
14:44 – Marvel Fan
Kept ticking over with two Flat runs in the autumn, MARVEL FAN could double her score over flights today after two fine runs in defeat at Fairyhouse in the spring. Blanketontheground can be relied upon to run well again, while Boothen Boy can’t be written off.
15:14 – Lor Des Roses
Grand Soir looks a fine stayer and goes in search of a hat-trick, but has to concede 6lb to the promising L’OR DES ROSES who goes in seeking a three-timer of his own and that could prove a bridge too far. Ben Harvey takes 5lb off, which could prove a significant advantage. Level Neverending could threaten the pair if anywhere near his best.
