I’m siding with Alexander John over Song For Whoever as I’m not sure on the latter. Luke Comer’s runner sets the standard and he could be good value if the punters get stuck into Song For Whoever. Alexander John is stepping back in trip from 7f to 6f and he can shine.
This is a really good race. I can see Dreal Deal going off the favourite as the money should arrive for him. However, I’m not sure he’s completely sold on the polytrack surface. Boom Boom Boom will also be at the top of the betting which could see Annecherie go off at a decent price. The Sheila Lavery runner has had two wins over this distance. Her last run at Dundalk was solid and she can be an each-way pick.
Hightimeyouwon could be well in here. He won at Cork 18 months ago and he’s lower than that mark. He sets the standard and he could be hard to beat. He finished fourth at Dundalk last month and he showed signs of improvement. This will be his second run for Adrian McGuinness.
I’ve got to take on Bold Ribb after his run last week at Dundalk, where he finished second after going off 1/4. I’m siding with Zawahir as her form holds up. Switching to the polytrack will suit and the distance is perfect for her. She should be wound up too.
I like Final Voyage, who’s an ex-English-trained horse. He was an eye-catcher at Dundalk in November and the extra furlong should be perfect for him. He could be hard to beat and he’s my best bet of the night on Friday.
Freescape is a victim of his own success and his weight could just be too much. I’ve landed on Vina Sena for Henry de Bromhead, who won a maiden here. He settled well last time out with a hood on and he’s been gelded since then. His form is a lot stronger than his rivals and the stall five draw is decent too.

Contrapposto will likely go off the favourite but I like Kampala Beach. I tipped him up a couple of weeks ago but the race didn’t go to plan. We didn’t see the best Kampala Beach that day and he could bounce back.
I’m going to take on Princess Wannabe, who has been drawn in stall 15. I like Emeric for Paul Flynn, who will wear blinkers for the first time at Dundalk. He’s got a good draw and he’s lightly raced. Money should come for this horse.
