12:20 Lingfield – Smith (Rory Delargy)
Four of SMITH’S five Flat wins have come over C&D, the latest in May. Recent hurdling flops are readily forgiven but no better than fourth in three staying AW handicaps before those.
13:20 Lingfield – Maso Bastie (Fortunatus)
MASO BASTIE showed signs of inexperience before finishing well for fourth at Kempton and highly likely that he’ll show the benefit of that first run. Didn’t appear to be unfancied at 9-2, either.
14:55 Lingfield – Pistoletto (Andrew Bladen)
PISTOLETTO is a four-time Polytrack winner who made late gains from off the pace at Kempton two weeks ago. That was over 1m and won’t mind returning to further.
15:25 Lingfield – Opticality (Racing Post)
OPTICALITY was placed in four of her first five handicaps but hasn’t progressed and she’s now 0-11. Course debut could bring improvement.
