DEN OF INIQUITY was relatively easy to back on her debut over seven furlongs at this course 12 days ago but she shaped with plenty of encouragement, knowing her job leaving the stalls and only edged out of it close home by one who had the benefit of experience and has won again since. There should be more to come from her now and she looks the one to beat. Cooler hails from a good family and is a sure-fire improver, while newcomers Timeless Piece and Twentynine Palms also interesting.

This doesn’t look the strongest race of its type and it looks a good opportunity for DABIRANN to open his account. He looked in need of the experience on his debut but fared a little better last time, attracting support in the market and given a positive ride. He shapes as though he is ready for this step up to a mile and should be a big player here. well-bred newcomer Luigi Antinori. Seven Hills showed a bit when fifth on debut here and is another to consider.

DOCTOR GRACE didn’t trouble the judge on her first five starts but she was much more competitive when beaten only half a length in second over seven furlongs at this course last month. She had to race wide on the bend that day, too, but stayed on well in the straight while still looking a little inexperienced. She is well worth a try at this longer trip and she will be competitive from 3 lb higher if building on that. Zentopia’s opening mark looks perfectly fair and he may prove the biggest threat.

VADIANA’s best form came when runner-up over an extended seven furlongs at Bellewstown in September and she wasn’t suited by the drop back to six at Naas on her latest start, while heavy ground may have also played a part in her performance. She shapes like she’ll relish the step up to a mile now and she has more potential than most in this line-up. Lizzy’s Filly and Cyclamen set the standard on form, but have had plenty of chances.
16:45 -Chazzesmee
CHAZZESMEE shaped with plenty of encouragement back from a year off last month in a big-field Curragh handicap where he was upped to a mile and a quarter and equipped with a first-time hood (retained here). He travelled through much of that race as if he was ahead of his mark yet he’s 2 lb lower here and the return to this trip promises to suit, so there’s much to like. The Bog Bank, hat-trick seeker Jaafel, Miss Abby Jools and Mulgrave all look dangerous.
17:15 -Sky Legend
SKY LEGEND took a step forward when placed on his final start in Britain, attracting support and shaping better than the bare result as he came from much further back than the two who finished in front of him. He might be worth siding with up against largely more exposed opposition on his first outing for Denis Hogan, with confidence increased should the betting vibes be strong. In a contest where few arrive with compelling claims, The Riastrad and Virtual Hug may be the pair to give him most to do.
17:45 -Picpoul
If PICPOUL is ready to roll after a break he could be the way to go. He won back-to-back handicaps over this course and distance around this time last year and he ran a cracker from 16 lb out of the handicap when last seen over two miles in January. The return to this trip will suit and the booking of Seamie Heffernan looks positive. Dream Deal was a bit better than the result when third over course and distance recently and is feared most ahead of John McConnell’s Meritorious.
