Pocket The Profit has quickly established himself as a high 80s handicapper and landed a few touches along the way, starting off on a lowly mark of just 54. His all-weather record is none too shabby as well and the team continue to carry all before them. He’s in a spot where he is super competitive.
17:50 Wolverhampton – Monaafith
Monaafith was last seen running at Newmarket when dipping her toe into Listed company and she never really got into it. She drops back into handicap company now and returns to a synthetic surface on which she has a perfect three from three record on, although she hasn’t won at this venue yet. That shouldn’t hold any fears and she can continue that climb back up through the handicap ranks.
18:20 Wolverhampton – Bird For Life
Bird For Life has been a multiple winner for her trainer down the seasons and also has some good form around this track when she gets her ideal set up. That includes a strong pace to run at and hopefully we have that in here. She can be a little bit reluctant to find that rhythm early on, however.

Dingle makes his first start for Julie Camacho on a very attractive looking mark of 77. Overall, his record is much better on the all weather than it is on the turf. He didn’t run too badly at this venue in the Racing League when we last saw him. From his high draw, he can be competitive.
15:28 Newcastle – Blazing Son
Blazing Son has really found his mojo recently when winning at Redcar under heavy conditions and managing to follow up in emphatic style over this course and distance. He looks just the type to continue to improve and has been found another really good opportunity by trainer Bryan Smart.
16:30 Newcastle – Brewing
Brewing brings in the perfect 100% record, although did have to work a little bit harder than expected when carrying the penalty to get the job done second time at Kempton. She looks just the type to improve coming back over the course and distance, where she was so impressive on her debut. The step back up and trip can bring about the required improvement in a hot handicap.
