13:09 – Dingle

This could prove tactical with Novak looking the only likely pace angle, but he is still to prove his stamina for this trip. Star Shield (second choice), Crownthorpe, Broctune Red and Cloch Nua are well capable of putting in a big effort if there is a solid pace on, but it may be worth taking a chance with DINGLE who drops into a Class 5 for the first time on stable debut. He has been off for 107 days, but is proven fresh having gained his latest success after six months off.

13:44 – Laser Guided

Some interesting newcomers here, with Imperial Ace, Open Choice and Roaring Legend possibly the pick. Market support for any of them should be heeded, but LASER GUIDED probably ran better than it looked when in midfield on his Kempton debut. He is bred to be better than that and his experience should stand him in good stead.

 

14:19 – Intricacy

If INTRICACY makes the expected improvement from his Wolverhampton debut he should be hard to beat. Wonder Legend was fifth in a warm-looking race at Kempton on his debut and is the obvious threat unless the betting vibes are strong surrounding newcomers Nazymbek and/or Waipiro. 

 

14:54 – Enemy

This should be fairly straightforward for the smart ENEMY who has some winning AW form in France.

15:28 – Blazing Son

One More Dream and Motawaazy ran well earlier in the week and make the shortlist, but BLAZING SON is going the right way and he can take this step up in class in his stride.

 

16:00 – Pocket The Packet

The way in which POCKET THE PACKET asserted for a couple of smacks at Lingfield the other day suggests he’s still a fair way ahead of his mark and he can make it 5-6 in AW nurseries. Cariad Angel improved for the switch to AW here last time and is second choice ahead of fellow Nick Bradley runner Glorious Angel.

 

 

16:30 – Brewing (NAP)

Beattie Is Back (second choice) is better than recent efforts suggest and is feasibly treated, but if there’s one in this line-up who could be well ahead of his mark it is BREWING (NAP) who is selected to make it three wins from three starts. 

 

17:00 – Sugar Baby

Joshua R will come good again at some point but the pair to focus on here could be Blazing Hot and SUGAR BABY. The former wasn’t well drawn when finishing behind a couple of reopposing rivals in October, but Sugar Baby had a near miss in a stronger race here last time and can land his fourth win of the year.
