With Bonkersinabundance having flopped here last time, ABBEY’S DREAM is selected to go one better than she did at Chelmsford four weeks ago. Miss Sarajevo, who won at that track, may be the chief danger despite her penalty, while Evening Story is the fourth filly with significant form. The form does not set that daunting a standard, so a close eye must be kept on signs of any market confidence behind the others.

17:30 – Perdika
Defying a penalty and then a double penalty in novice company was no mean feat for PERDIKA and George Boughey’s filly is taken to bring up the four-timer in this nursery. Master Of Chant, who looks sure to appreciate this extra furlong, is feared most.
18:00 – Tyndrum Gold
Choosing between previous winners TYNDRUM GOLD and Stenton Glider, who both beat odds-on favourites on debut, isn’t easy but the selection appeared to beat a nice prospect fair and square over this track and trip. Garrick Painter is third choice.
18:30 – Congresbury
Penalised Dionysian was mightily impressive over track and trip in October while a big run from Tyndrum Gold in division one would give a form boost to Anisette (second choice). CONGRESBURY looks the one to be on, though, having given a nice type something to think about on his debut in August.

19:00 – Whispering Romance
Al Agaila sets the standard with a peak RPR of 81 but the unbeaten penalised runners could improve past her. Estidama was much more visually impressive than WHISPERING ROMANCE on her debut at Southwell but the Godolphin filly looked as if she’d glean plenty from her course win.
19:30 – Dungar Glory
Last-time-out winners Colombidea and Gurkha Girl have more to do so DUNGAR GLORY and Albion Princess head the shortlist. Money for the latter would be ominous but the selection could have it easy at the head of affairs and is favoured.
20:00 – Imperium (NAP)
A cracking final of the stayers’ series. IMPERIUM (NAP) finished behind three of these last time but that was his first run following wind surgery and he wasn’t seen to best effect off a steady pace. He has an excellent record at Kempton. Duty Of Care readily swept by nine rivals last week and is feared most under a 5lb penalty, although Danni California is also respected at likely bigger odds.
20:30 – Hes A Latchico
Gary Moore holds a very strong hand with his two runners, among whom Junkanoo remains well handicapped after his revival for a C&D win four weeks ago but HES A LATCHICO gets the vote now that he has a race under his belt following his seven-month break. They top the list but Precision Storm might also be all the better for his recent run and Barenboim has done very well for his new yard.
