VISION DES FLOS is no longer the force of old but won in good style off 3lb lower at Warwick in September and both subsequent runs were perfectly respectable.
15:05 Fontwell – Swincombe Fleat (Moorestyle)
SWINCOMBE FLEAT won on debut over fences when beating two rivals at Warwick last month. Stamina for this trip has to be taken on trust but she’s a likely strong contender off 4lb higher if she stays. Best on soft ground.
17:20 Southwell – Enborne (The Brigadier)
ENBORNE is 22-1 and in need of the experience when eighth of 13 at Newmarket in October. Hood worn there is now dispensed with. Open to improvement.
18:20 Southwell – King Of Speed (Picksfromthepaddock)
KING OF SPEED has been raced exclusively over 5f. Turf winner for previous stable. Not disgraced at Nottingham and Newcastle for new yard, looking ready for a crack at 6f.
