LE BREUIL was a smart staying chaser in 2018-19. Ended a long losing run at Huntingdon in May and he went in again there three weeks ago. Nudged back up 4lb but he’s still well treated on old form and his stable’s purple patch shows no sign of coming to an end. Has to be respected.
15:03 Newcastle – Tricky Business (Moorestyle)
TRICKY BUSINESS has shown modest form on turf this year for Stuart Kittow. Has rejoined Keith Dalgleish and now returns to the scene of 2yo win.
15:30 Sandown – Raymond Tusk (The Brigadier)
RAYMOND TUSK is still capable of useful Flat form at the age of seven and won a 1m4f conditions stakes at Doncaster in the spring. Not disgraced in a French Group 2 last time. Handicapped on three hurdle runs last winter and dangerous now back in this sphere. Versatile ground-wise.
18:45 Newcastle – King Of Speed (Picksfromthepaddock)
KING OF SPEED is on a dangerous mark and was a close fifth at Nottingham on his stable debut in October but he failed to repeat that form here last month. Has a bit to prove on his first run over 6f.
