Gordon Elliott fires eight darts at the Troytown Handicap Chase as the Cullentra handler bids to land the Navan race for the sixth time since 2014.

Frontal Assault appears to be Elliott’s best chance in Sunday’s 14:20 as the Irish Grand National second heads the betting – and favourites have landed the last three renewals.

Troytown Handicap Chase tips

Timeform: FRONTAL ASSAULT gained a deserved first success over fences at Galway last time and, having finished runner-up in the Irish Grand National in April, appeals as the type who could have more to offer in major staying handicap chases. The 7-y-o is taken to land the prize, though heading the list of potential dangers are Lifetime Ambition, Egality Mans and Flash de Touzaine.
