16:20 Wolverhampton – Zaakara

Zaakara looks to have been found a real good opportunity to get her head in front at just the fifth time of asking, and only her second try on a synthetic track. She is no superstar but has shown enough ability to take advantage of a basement mark of just 62. So far, they have struggled to get her to settle early on properly. I would imagine they will let her attack from her wide draw and use her stamina.

17:20 Wolverhampton – Glamorous Force

Both of his all weather victories have been recorded over this course and distance and his chance is upgraded again somewhat as he has a perfect draw in stall two over this minimum 5f trip. I’m a fan of the rider William Carson taking over in the saddle as he makes very few mistakes on the limited chances he gets. He could showcase his talents at this restricted riders’ meeting aboard Glamorous Force

18:50 Wolverhampton – Huddletone Mac

Huddletone Mac was picked up very cheaply indeed from the horses-in-training sale at just 2000gns, but there didn’t seem much wrong with his first try for the new team at Chelmsford where he got going late in the day. Overall, he is relatively lightly raced and even more so on a synthetic surface. He won’t be anywhere near the 50/1 he was last time but can again highlight the talents  of our rider.

19:20 Wolverhampton – Ramdon Rocks

Another one who has recently changed hands at the horses-in-training sale is Random Rocks. He now tackles what could be his ideal distance of 7f. Having tried it on only one occasion over this course and distance previously, he got lit up after a slow start and was rushed forward to hit the front a long way from home. Provided he gets into a rhythm and has a smoother more patient ride, we can see and improved display for the new outfit.

19:50 Wolverhampton – Miss Calculation

She is still looking to break her duck as far as the all-weather is concerned, but undoubtedly ran her best race to date when only beaten a length and a quarter last time at this venue. Miss Calculation gets the services of another rider David Nolan, who can mix it with the best in the business in the saddle. She just got into a little barging match leaving from the tricky  7 furlong start here and provided that doesn’t happen tonight, she can return to the winners enclosure.

20:20 Wolverhampton – Master of Combat

Master of Combat is completely unexposed on the all-weather surface and his profile overall isn’t to shabby. He won well at Doncaster despite still looking a touch green. They have tried a few different ways to ride him and it looks like they will drop him in and take a lead until late on. He might just prove a real money spinner on a synthetic surface this winter.
