Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

If The Cap Fits Daryl Jacob Ffos Las October 18, 2020

12:55 Ffos Las – Twilight Glory (Moorestyle)

TWILIGHT GLORY reached the frame in two Irish points late last year but he’s been well held in four runs under rules including when favourite on his chase debut at Sedgefield last month. Still lightly raced and mark is falling but that was a laboured effort last time.

13:20 Newbury – Russian Ruler (Andrew Bladen)

RUSSIAN RULER is a bumper winner who was third on hurdle debut at Doncaster in January and displayed improved form when fifth in Grade 2 novice at Kempton in February. Wind op since. Has leading form claims and could be capable of better still for top yard.

14:05 Ffos Las – Moonlighter (Postdata)

MOONLIGHTER is a smart chaser at his best as he showed when landing a quite valuable handicap under David Bass at Sandown last February. Has mainly struggled since but he made an encouraging start for this yard at Stratford last month. Was no match for the winner but he kept on well for second and has possibilities if he can build on that.

15:05 Newbury – Champ (The Brigadier)

CHAMP didn’t kick on last season after winning the Grade 1 Long Walk at Ascot on his reappearance but he still managed a highly respectable fourth in the Stayers’ Hurdle at Cheltenham and has an excellent record at Newbury. Has won on good ground. Big player on return to action.
