Small field but quite deep contest. Unexpected Depth should improve a good deal for a Naas debut where little went right. The vote goes to dual novice hurdle winner CHURCHSTONEWARRIOR, a staying second to a very useful rival at Galway last month with improvement likely.

Needing to jump better than at Down Royal on his first run for the Elliott yard, ARCTIC AMBITION now has Jack Kennedy aboard and this drop in trip should suit. Oscer Romero, Difficult Decision and Beating The Odds are likely dangers.
13:35 – FAVORI DE CHAMPDOU(nap)
Impressive Wexford winner Harry Des Ongrais should go well while the step up in trip will suit Jack In The Box, but after his C&D win here three weeks ago, the corner may have been turned with FAVORI DE CHAMPDOU(nap) and he can take this.
14:10 – SAINTE DONA
An open contest. Wexford bumper winner Ballycashin is of obvious interest on her hurdles debut, while Ginnets Girl looks the best of the Elliott pair. The selection is the consistent SAINTE DONA, just in front of Roccos Inspiration at Clonmel last time and she can confirm that.

14:40 – L’OR DES ROSES
Although having the run of the race from the front at Cork, L’OR DES ROSES won with some authority and could again prove hard to catch here despite a 9lb rise. Gali Flight and Moonovercloon look a solid each-way options, while support for the long-absent Attitash could prove significant, a similar sentiment applying to handicap debutant Asluckwouldhaveit.
15:10 – GENDARME
Our Bobby comes here in good form and would have gone close at Wexford last time if standing up at the last. Boghlone Honey should also go well reverting to hurdles off an 8lb higher mark for her Sligo win, while Elusive Rebeldom looks the pick of the Tom Cooper pair, both of whom can be competitive. A chance is taken that the long-absent GENDARME will be fit enough to do himself justice having won back to back handicaps in July 2021. He is 11lb higher than when last seen.
15:40 – IL ETAIT TEMPS
A bit green and plenty keen when tried at Grade One level on his three starts last season, nonetheless IL ETAIT TEMPS showed enough to suggest he should be making short work of this sort of field. Nucky Johnson could be the one to follow the selection home, with Ideal Des Ciergues the most appealing of the hurdling debutants.
