Thursday’s Kelso Tips

12:48 – CONISTON CLOUDS
13:20 – KALAHARRY
13:55 – FORTCANYON
14:28 – MISS MILANO (nap)
14:58 – TFOU
15:28 – CAMP BELAN

12:48 – CONISTON CLOUDS

The majority of these are likely to be suited by further and it’s worth going with CONISTON CLOUDS on this hurdle debut. He shaped with promise on his racecourse debut in a Carlisle bumper and should come on a fair bit for the experience. The Nicky Richards team remains among the winners and the 6yo is taken to beat Chapel Green.

13:20 – KALAHARRY

In an open event the suggestion is KALAHARRY, who has conditions to suit for this return to hurdles. He figures on a good mark, he usually improves for his reappearance run and is taken to get the better of Rockmann and Bestiarius.

13:55 – FORTCANYON

There are several to consider in an open event, not least the in-form Hoganville, the well-handicapped Glittering Love and Deluxe Range, who goes back up in distance. However a flier at likely much bigger odds is taken with FORTCANYON, who has only hinted at ability so far but his pedigree suggests he should be well suited by this test of stamina.

14:28 – MISS MILANO (nap)

Without Conviction has claims from this lower hurdle mark but she’s taken on with MISS MILANO (nap), who showed improved form to win at Wetherby last month and looks the type to progress further. Jen’s Georgie is another with claims.

14:58 – TFOU

An interesting novices’ chase and one in which the step up in trip could suit TFOU, who make a winning debut over fences at Ayr a month ago. That form has taken a few knocks but he’s a well-regarded sort who should be able to make further progress in this sphere. Brayhill also won on his chase debut earlier this month and looks the main danger.

15:28 –CAMP BELAN

The one that makes the most appeal is CAMP BELAN, who matched his best chase RPR when dividing previous winners at Ayr on his reappearance. He’s well worth another try over this trip and is taken to confirm the Ayr form with Gipsy Lee Rose. Loughermore looks best of the remainder.
