Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.
So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…
ASTRA VIA was a respectable third in Ffos Las chase last month, after a break, and placed in two subsequent 2m7f hurdles here. May not have much margin for error off current mark but probably won’t be far away.
LARRY was not at his best on his final four outings last season and a return to form is needed on this reappearance, but he’s back down to the same mark as when winning a Grade 3 C&D handicap last October and can’t be ruled out.
ONEMOREFORTHEROAD won his first three last season and ran well in defeat in some hot handicaps subsequently. Another good run on last month’s reappearance at Aintree, when fading into fourth, and he’s respected now back down in trip.
IBERIO displayed significant improvement to win two 2m3f Taunton handicaps in cheekpieces towards end of last season. No match for easy winner when second on reappearance outing at Worcester three weeks ago but may still have more to offer.
