13:00 – San Agustin (NAP)

Caspers Court is always a solid proposition here but others might be better handicapped. SAN AGUSTIN (NAP) is interesting off a lower hurdle mark than when chasing home a well-treated winner over fences last time. The Composeur is also on a good mark and Langley Hundred is ready for this stiffer stamina test.

13:30 – McFabulous

An intriguing novices’ chase with three big players. MCFABULOUS can boast the highest honours over hurdles and it was all going swimmingly on his chase debut until losing his action at Wincanton. Camprond and Unexpected Party have more than held their own in good company and both also bring significant potential into their new careers.

14:00 – Timeforatune

It was a stronger novices’ hurdle than this in which Listed bumper winner TIMEFORATUNE finished an encouraging fourth at Chepstow when reportedly in need of the run. Aldsworth shaped nicely in a decent Stratford bumper and he’s promising. Ben Bulben is preferred of the remainder.

14:30 – William Philo

Representing Bob (second choice) and Midnight Glance are solid options after chasing home an improver at Uttoxeter but there are others of interest, including WILLIAM PHILO, who goes straight chasing this season over a trip that could trigger any amount of improvement.

15:00 – Mr Glass

It was a deep handicap that Masters Legacy did well to win on his chase debut here ten days ago, for which a 4lb rise is very fair. However, MR GLASS was thought good enough to contest a Grade 1 novice hurdle last season and this initial chase mark looks very manageable if he’s back to his best after wind surgery. Young Butler and Hidden Heroics are talented but both had shockers last time.

15:30 – Lutinbelloa

It would be no surprise should Fairy Gem leave her Ffos Las form behind and even reverse placings with the runner-up Lady Gwen, but LUTINEBELLA might well beat them both. She had the best form in bumpers and it would be churlish to knock her debut defeat over hurdles when going down narrowly in a tight finish. Sister Saint also commands respect, especially if at all strong in the betting.

16:05 – Jack Sprat

A few of these should progress to better things but the selection is JACK SPRAT, who did not go unbacked when shaping nicely in a decent race at Chepstow. Dear Ralphy has respectable form already and Carrigmoorna Rowan looked good in his point. All five newcomers have appealing profiles.
