13:20 Navan – Imagine (Daily Star Sunday)

Imagine was the Punchestown bumper winner in February and was only workmanlike in landing a Wexford maiden hurdle two weeks ago; less testing ground might suit him here and should making the line first.

14:05 Frontwell – Cyclop (Scottish Sun)

Third in this race in 2016 and runner-up in 2017; Cyclop looked as good as ever when winning Highland National at Perth (3m6f; 4lb higher today) in April 2021 and, having tailed off in his only run last season, his recent 40-1 second over hurdles gives renewed hope and is a good value to cross the line first here.

14:55 Cheltenham – Severance (Wolverhampton Express)

Severance wasa lose second to Cormier over C&D (good) in January and he was runner-up in two 16-runner handicaps in spring; returned from a break with a solid third of five at Ffos Las last month, when 6lb wrong at the weights, and he has sound each-way claims off his proper mark today.

16:00 Cheltenham – Notnowned – (Daily Mirror)

Confirmed initial promise with a runaway success on good ground at Bellewstown, an outcome that was never in doubt (short-priced favourite); placed horses have done nothing for the form but Notnowned was in a different league to them; the trainer saddled an impressive bumper winner at the October meeting here; now hooded but should do well again here.
