13:10 – Enki Flacke & Alvaro (each way)

Enki Flacke is definitely of interest after running down Simple Star at Perth last time out. Third that day was The Wounded Knee, who has since won twice at Perth and finished second at Cheltenham behind Mofasa. That form is strong. It’s also worth keeping an eye on Alvaro, who ran a cracker at Killarney back in August and he loves being in a big field.

13:45 – Monsieur Lecoq

I’m going for Monsieur Lecoq, who I tipped at Ascot last month but he fell. He beat Grey Diamond at Ascot last year when there was 1lb between them and it’s the same this time round. He’s had a couple of runs this season and he could go well.

14:20 – Super Six

Hereditary Rule racked up a good record in the summer but I have my doubts over him and whether he’ll be able to do it at Cheltenham in November. I like Super Six for Nigel Twiston-Davies with Sam on board. His run at Ffos Las in October will have brought him on considerably and he could be unexposed.

14:55 – Magic Dancer

I’m not sure about Ballyandy in this one so I’m going with Magic Dancer. He’s best suited for the 2m4f trip and he’s well in on ratings compared to Ballyandy and Kauto Riko.

15:30 – Hubrisko

I’m surprised that Willie has sent Hubrisko over for this, however, the 2m5f trip is ideal for him. He’s had some impressive runs at Fairyhouse and Galway. He finished third at Tipperary last month too. He’s in good form at home and the ground will be ideal for him.

16:00 – Hey Johnny

Hey Johnny is probably the one to beat with Charlie Mullins claiming 7lbs. He quickened up well to win at Clonmel in October and he had a solid run at Punchestown before that. He’s improving and he could be ahead of the handicapper in a wide open race.
