Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.
So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…
LE MILOS was 3-7 over fences for Tim Vaughan, including a notable success at Sandown in February. not seen since a lesser effort in March but is suited by soft/heavy ground it will be interesting to see what Dan Skelton can do with him.
HUNTERS CALL went very close in first-time cheekpieces (retained) at Uttoxeter last time out in April and he won this last year following some time off. This 12yo could play another leading role.
MILE MIGLIA won by a short head at Haydock in September and she had an excuse on soft ground at Newbury last time. Return to Polytrack is no problem and she’s only 1lb higher than for last success so has claims if she can bounce back near best.
APOLLO ONE’s losing run is beginning to mount up but he has yet to run a bad race on AW this year, most recently when picked off late by the reopposing Aramis Grey over C&D last week. 5lb better off for a neck and there is no obvious reason why he won’t make another bold bid.
