12:50 Sandown – Halo Des Obeaux (Racing Post)

The Paul Nicholls-trained 5yo HALO DES OBEAUX has potential off his mark in view of the promise shown last October and he’s taken to make a winning return. The form of Top Of The Bill’s handicap debut fourth at Newbury in March has worked out well and he’s feared most ahead of Hasty Parisian then Cilaos Glace.

15:13 Cork – Dromore Lad (Daily Record)

Although Braeside bucked the trend last year, this generally goes to something with a handy weight and 2020 winner DROMORE LAD fits the bill having had a pleasing prep run over hurdles. Defi Bleu ran well enough in last month’s Munster National and could contend with that run under his belt, while last year’s runner-up Screaming Colours can go well again without winning.

15:20 Ffos Las – Helios Allen (The Sun)

Colonel Manderson is still capable of better, while each of Evan Williams’ three representatives could have their case argued. The pair with most potential upside look to be the 5yos Phantom Getaway and HELIOS ALLEN and the latter can belatedly confirm the promise of last November’s Chepstow win with this step up in trip likely to suit.

15:57 Naas – Boher Road

Hard to solve and it may pay to look for extra places. BOHER ROAD’s maiden win at the Curragh didn’t get a form boost since but that wasn’t his fault and he is open to more. Team Of Firsts could potentially bounce back to last year’s form too.
