16:29 – Emaraaty Ana (each-way)
Emaraaty Ana gets Ryan Moore in the saddle for the first time and that is always a bonus. He has ended up in a perfect starting position in stall three and will be able to slot in behind both Highfield Princess and Golden Pal, who are drawn on his outside. Everything looks in place for a massive run at a huge each-way price.

17:50 – Nashwa
Nashwa was arguably unlucky not to win last time over in France as she was posted deep on the track from a poor position early on and had to make the running, which is not ideal. She looks to have been campaigned with this as her end of season target. Returning to faster conditions will help her cause and it can be a huge success at the Breeders’ Cup for her excellent rider Hollie Doyle.
19:10 – Ivar (each-way)
Ivar can be one for the home team, although he does have to turn the form around with the red-hot favourite Modern Games, who looked to have a hard race without winning at Ascot last time. Ivar is overpriced as an each-way player and his form from last season looks rock solid. Fast condition suit and he is a strong seasoned campaigner.
20:40 – Mishriff
Mishriff gets the blinkers on for the first time and has already shown this season he retains the class and ability when unlucky at Sandown in the Eclipse. If the headgear sparks some interest from him, Nations Pride is not going to have it all his own way. Added to that we have a strong raiding party throughout the field, which should guarantee that this is run at a much more even tempo, which may highlight the cracks in the American’s stamina.

21:40 – Life Is Good
There just seems something too obvious about the red-hot favourite, Flightline. It’s ridiculous to think he’s going to go off and have an easy canter around as he has done to date in a limited five-start career. If the other contenders can get a little bit of dirt thrown in his face early on – which he’s never had – there’s a possibility he’ll be unsettled. Life Is Good is a front runner and let’s hope he gets away from the unbeaten champion at a price.
