Company Keeping has a lot going for him after two near misses and last week’s winner Inishmot Prince is another with claims, for all that his recent good runs were over shorter.

There should be a big run in RICCARDI MEDICI, who has had fewer chances than most of these. He did well to make the frame here last time given how far back he was and this longer trip is well worth exploring. Maura’s Gift has races in her off this mark and she’s next best, though recent winning hurdler Well Funded would merit a second look if getting in.

This is his AW debut but ALFALFA was perhaps unlucky not to win his penultimate race and he edges preference in an open finale. Contrapposto hasn’t won for ages but there’s reason to be hopeful about his each-way prospects, while Dragon Roll is clearly one of the safer options after her recent course success.
