There would seem to be a dearth of opposition with which to take on VOCITO here. He is not progressive but boasts enough good form to win here with a penalty. Tipperary bumper runner-up On The Tide is possibly the most viable alternative with Aide De Camp and Sheephaven Flyer possibly next best.
14:05 – Sea Sessions
A tight contest on paper. With her fitness sharpened by a couple of runs on the Flat, SEA SESSIONS may be able to cope with her six rivals. Rocco Bay made a fine start over hurdles at Limerick in May and could be progressive over this longer trip. There is nothing to choose between Martha Devine and My Design at these weights.
14:40 – King Gresel 16/1
Crimson Chief could not be in better form coming in here but the ground is a negative and he could be worth opposing. The maiden Fox Le Bel and Tramore winner Cruisin Susan are both players. Perhaps a chance can be taken here with KING GRESEL who fared okay on his handicap debut at Cork and looks well capable of improvement.

15:15 – Banntown Girl (NAP)
The unexposed Gold Cup Bailly is an intriguing runner here, while The Folkes Tiara could be well capable of a bold bid. The standard over hurdles is set by BANNTOWN GIRL (NAP) and if she takes to these obstacles she is the one to beat.
15:50 – Optional Mix
Only seven runners but this is an open-looking race. Perhaps OPTIONAL MIX can step up a place after going very close at Limerick last Sunday. The in-form Pat Coyne holds an obvious chance, and Presenting Point will be more at home now that he is sent back over fences.
16:20 – Glory Liss
Provided she’s sharp enough after a 203-day break, GLORY LISS might be the answer to an open-looking contest. She has the potential to improve on her two solid efforts in the spring, though Leitrim Park’s proven race-fitness should stand her in good stead. She might be the biggest danger unless the Henry de Bromhead-trained newcomer New York Style, who cost 65,000Euros as a 3yo, makes a strong impression on debut.
