Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.
WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.
So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…
14:00 Redcar – Carvetii (Daily Mail)
Jungle Fever posted a fairly good effort on ground softer than good in August and continues to edge down the weights but CARVETII has made quite pleasing progress in his qualifying runs and is taken to make a winning nursery debut. Saleet, who had no luck on his nursery debut, is next on the list.
14:10 Ayr – Money For Jam (Racing Post)
In a tricky race that features several unexposed sorts likely to improve now going handicapping, the choice is MONEY FOR JAM, who was a good fourth in a race that worked out well last time. Future Benefits and Spanish Hustle are two others likely to go well.
14:55 Leicester – Road To The East (Daily Record)
Plenty of dead wood here but it’s still open. ROAD TO THE EAST took a forward step at York and any further improvement should see him being very competitive. Dear Daphne and Muy Muy Guapo bring similar profiles after pleasing second efforts and they are feared most in that order.
16:10 Newcastle – Crazy Maisie (The Guardian)
Oscar Doodle is respected off only 2lb higher than for his breakthrough win here last time but preference is for another progressive 3yo in CRAZY MAISIE, who was a good second behind a handicap blot in her bid for a C&D double last month and is on an unchanged mark. The in-form 4yo Bearwith should go well again on his return to AW, while others who could be dangerous are The New Marwan and Barrister Blaster.
Monday’s Lucky 15:
14:00 Redcar – Carvetii
14:10 Ayr – Money For Jam
14:55 Leicester – Road To The East
16:10 Newcastle – Crazy Maisie
