13:35 Seantrabh

SEANTRABH failed to make an impact in a listed race at Ayr last time, but he is worth another chance to resume his progress now back down in grade. He had previously shaped well on his debut at York, passing the post less than two lengths behind the winner, and just a repeat of that form is likely to put him right in the mix in this novice event.

14:10 Prayer Matt

PRAYER MATT wasn’t seen to best effect when last seen finishing third at Musselburgh, doing well to be beaten less than a length having been shuffled back in the early stages. She can line up here from an unchanged mark and today could be the day that she finally opens her account if enjoying a bit more luck than she did at Musselburgh.

14:45 Real Terms

REAL TERMS has proved better than ever on her last two starts at Catterick, first winning over this distance in September and then running at least as well in defeat when third over a longer trip 10 days ago. She was beaten just a nose and a head on the last occasion, only giving best late on, and there is no reason why she shouldn’t go close again from the same mark

15:20 Cold Stare

COLD STARE ran another solid race when finishing a close-up fifth at Doncaster on Saturday, looking the likeliest winner at one stage (hit a low of 1.53 in-running) before being headed and fading close home. That was a particularly good run given how keen he was in the early stages and there is little doubt he is on a workable mark if arriving in the same sort of form after just three days off.

15:55 Cold Henry

COLD HENRY and Oh So Chic could be the pair to focus on having filled the first two places in a similar event over this course and distance last month. The pair were separated by just half a length at the line, but Cold Henry was arguably value for extra having met trouble entering the straight. Still unexposed over long distances, he remains with potential and is fancied to uphold the form with Oh So Chic despite meeting that rival on 4 lb worse terms.

16:30 Bay Breeze

BAY BREEZE took a step back in the right direction when fourth at Beverley last time, keeping on well to pass the post just a length behind the winner. The return to six furlongs today will be in his favour and he has become well handicapped again judged on the pick of his form. After all, he can line up here from the same mark as when registering his last victory at Ripon in June.

17:00 Bomb Squad

BOMB SQUAD has proved expensive to follow since winning at Kempton around this time last year, but it wasn’t long ago that he was beaten just a head at Thirsk, producing easily his best effort of the season. He has acquitted himself well in two subsequent starts on the all-weather and it’s surely just a matter of time before he gets his head back in front from his lowly mark.

17:30 Two Summers

TWO SUMMERS has been shaping with more encouragement since being fitted with a hood, including when last seen filling the runner-up spot at Ayr earlier this month. Admittedly, she was no match for the winner on that occasion, ultimately being beaten six lengths, but she was the first home in her group and should be capable of winning a race of this nature when everything falls right.
