The temptation is to go for the beautifully-bred Delightful on her nursery bow and she may well win but a bigger-priced alternative is NYOTA. She seemed to get outstayed over 1m at Listowel last time and the drop to 7f with an effective 7lb claimer aboard today could swing it for her.
It’s worth forgiving GLOUNTHAUNE’s latest outing in France and he’s better judged on a big run over C&D last month when chasing home a proven Group 2 performer to finish runner-up. Sunset Shiraz arrives on the back of a solid effort last week and she could be the main danger if she can build on that. Power Under Me has stamina to prove at this trip but he should be in the mix if he does stay.
A few with claims but it’s hard to get away from SALTONSTALL who is at his best on testing ground and looks well handicapped despite a 4lb rise for his recent success. Stablemate Spanish Tenor will appreciate a return to this C&D. If she gets an easy lead, Shanghai Dragon could be a danger to all.
The Aidan O’Brien stable selected Hippodrome will rightly be strongly fancied but preference at the likely prices is for MISTER MISTER, whose Gowran maiden form is strong and has the credentials on pedigree to stay this trip.

Tudor City and Eloquent Arthur are tempting but their wide draws are offputting, while Bridge Of Dawn had a hard enough race on return at Navan three days ago and might ‘bounce’ with an extra 7lb too. The frustrating Knocknakilla and Turbulence can run well.
It could pay to forgive KOJIN for his poor run in a premier handicap last time as it came soon after his previous win at Clonmel over a similar trip to this. Some of these have been in poor form lately but Enke Flacke has won his last three over hurdles and can go well, along with Takarengo and Whatcouldhavebeen.
