Ralph Beckett’s LEADENHALL was never dangerous when favourite at Sandown last month but he lost a shoe in that race and it wouldn’t be a surprise if this well-related colt took a major step forward on his second start. He gets the vote ahead of Prince Of Zenda, who was an eyecatching third at Wolverhampton on his recent debut and should improve for that experience. Another to keep an eye on is the newcomer Iconic Moment, who represents an in-form yard with a record of 2-5 with 2yos here this year.

17:55 – Bohemian Breeze
There should be more to come from BOHEMIAN BREEZE on the back of his promising Leicester second so he’s preferred to Sea Eagle (second choice) and Imaginary World.
18:30 – Double Time
The improving DOUBLE TIME is taken to follow up his Kempton win. Alpha Cru, who went close here two weeks ago, is second choice ahead of Almaan, Free Solo and Roman Dynasty in that order of preference. Toophan looks a potential improver.
19:00 – Laheg
The candidate with the most potential is LAHEG (nap) who probably needed his reappearance before shaping well at Wolverhampton three weeks ago. Today’s drop in distance should be ideal and he’s selected to get the better of the in-form Cooperation, with Secret Moment, Twilight Madness and Silver Kitten also considered.
19:30 – Estrela Star
The vote goes to dual C&D winner ESTRELA STAR, who caught the eye back here last time and remains on a workable mark. Second choice is Heatherdown Hero, who is threatening to win a race and is better off with Haven Lady on recent Southwell running. Haven Lady still warrants respect, while Sicario is another suggestion for the shortlist.
20:00 – Munificent
Thank The Lord should give it plenty from the rail draw and Shamshon nearly took advantage of a solid drop in the weights last time but at this trip MUNIFICENT is preferred as he is still not fully exposed since cheekpieces have been fitted and was better than the bare result at Wolverhampton last time out. Privilege can also be involved.

Most of these have something to prove but ALWAJD continues to thrive and she can complete the three-timer after another emphatic win on Monday. Runners with potential are thin on the ground but Miss Bluebelle was much improved when winning on her handicap debut and a soft-ground defeat on turf since is easily forgiven. This trip on the AW might be the answer for Aldabra while Mc’Ted looks more likely than most to be involved.
